 Project Description: |
We are a company that provides Joomla driven Virtuemart web shops. Despite all the dynamic features present in Virtuemart, it does not provide an effective accounting platform. However, we would like to provide these Virtuemart web shops with a reliable, flexible and easy to use accounting forum.
For this, we need to integrate features of Virtuemart to run in sync with corresponding features of the online accounting platform, e-conomic.no. Therefore, all transactions that take place in Virtuemart must go through re-defined processes dictated by its integration with e-conomic.no. The end product of the integration should be for the two platforms to achieve the following results.
Both Virtuemart and e-conomic.no should:
- Reflect a similar change of base currency.
- Reflect similar VAT values.
- Reflect similar changes in currencies.
- Reflect similar product lists and stock levels, as well as changes of attributes and values of these.
- Reflect similar updates and changes of values in the supplier lists.
e-conomic.no specific results:
- Although the invoicing will happen in Virtuemart, invoices must be available as well in e-conomic.no for accounting purposes.
- e-conomic.no must reflect the order status on Virtuemart.
Virtuemart specific results:
- Exchange rates should be updated based on e-conomic.no updates.
- Virtuemart should show the invoice history of both Virtuemart and e-conomic.no under the “My Account” menu.
THE BID
For this project, familiarity with all aspects, functions and dynamics of Joomla driven Virtuemart web shops is a pre-requisite.
The API for e-conomic.no is SOAP. e-conomic.no explains further about its available APIs. This can be found on http://www.e-conomic.com/integration/. You can contact them for any further information regarding their platform.
If you have the ability to perform the integration between Virtuemart and e-conomic.no that will achieve the required results, please provide us with a fixed price bid, time frame, necessary tools and detailed plan on how you will undertake this project. |

 Deliverables: |
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). |
